Mr. Selig is a principal of SH Business Partners, LLC. In partnership with Mr. Hoffman, Mr. Selig brings a wealth of experience in a wide array of business activities including operational leadership, corporate governance, market development, and human resource development. Mr. Selig’s industry experience includes agriculture, construction, higher education, logistics, manufacturing, retail, technology, and wholesale distribution. As a key leader in various industries, Mr. Selig has expertise in start-ups, turnarounds, management transitions, planning and growth, joint ventures, and mergers and acquisitions. Mr. Selig specializes in reinventing and refreshing company cultures through teambuilding and strategic planning resulting in better profitability and improved financial outcomes for both small and large business enterprises.
Mr. Selig has over 30 years of experience in the steel industry and 15 years of entrepreneurial experience with multiple enterprises. In the steel industry Mr. Selig rose from his role as an entry-level apprentice to a senior executive and partner in a leading US steel supplier. Working with each client, Mr. Selig employs a disciplined approach to evaluate the strengths and weakness of the business and applies sound business judgement to set reasonable business goals. Depending on the needs of the client, Mr. Selig and the SH Business Partners team has a proven history of success helping clients achieve their goals.
Mr. Selig studied business and engineering at The University of Texas at Austin. He continued his education at the Center for Creative Leadership, The University of North Carolina Executive Roundtable, Young Presidents Association (YPO), and Harvard University’s Finance for Executives. Jeff is married to Walton Selig and have three grown children. They live in San Antonio and Jeff enjoys traveling, cooking, gardening, reading, and spending time with his family.
